New - RUTHUNA 490: Neutral black ruthenium electrolyte for rack and barrel operation

In the decorative precious metals area we have developed a new black ruthenium electrolyte called "RUTHUNA 490".
This neutral electrolyte can be deposited directly on bronze (e.g. MIRALLOY) or nickel layers.
There is no need for expensive palladium or gold intermediate layers or other complex process steps – all in all, this produces significant cost savings.

RUTHUNA 490 is ideal for use in rack and barrel operation. The electrolyte has a small ruthenium content of only 2 g Ru/l.
